Virginia! What a Place
Virginia is located in the the middle of the country so it doesn't get to hot or to cold. it has access to the ocean and to luscious green forests. if you come to Virginia you will most likely come to grow tobacco. some farm animals you will need is oxen and horses to pull wagons and plow fields, cows and small foul for food, pigs for meat, lard, and soap, sheep for wool, and cows for milk and cheese. Children’s chores and education varied, depending on whether they were boys or
girls. girls would work along side of their mothers making soap, spin wool, and cook. boys would either work with the dad or get a small education from the local Angelican minister. Virginia is mostly Anglican and it is a big part of every day life
Facts
since the weather is always the right temperature you will be able to grow crops all year. so don't worry about a frost coming and destroying your crops. some of the major cities are Jamestown Williamsburg and Richmond. For Fun people play outside, dance, fish, hunt, ride horses, and have shooting competitions. in bad weather we whittle, play board games, or sew. the main source of income was tobacco but there is also lumber and fishing.
